Welcome by Principal

Welcome!” to our school family.  We at St. Francis Xavier High School open our doors with a generous heart to those who seek a college-preparatory, traditional education for their student that is grounded in Catholic/Christian values.  We believe in developing the “whole” student; spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically.  We see each student as being unique and bringing talents, interests, and gifts to our family that benefit all.

Being a part of the St. Francis Xavier family is a great joy for me personally.  I am grateful for the opportunity to grow with these young people.  Their enthusiasm, energy and optimism are infectious.  Due to our close-knit, family atmosphere, our teachers are given the opportunity to know each student personally.  We truly believe that the first step in educating any child is to develop a relationship with them.  A student, during four years at St. Francis Xavier, will most likely have the same teacher for all their Math courses, English courses, etc.  This allows for a seamless transition from one grade to the next.

Our goal is to prepare our students for higher education.  Yet, we also prepare them to take their place as leaders within their communities, churches, and families.  These future leaders leave our school with a vision based on sound values and morals.  Our faith in Christ guides us and surrounds us each day and that is our prayer for the future of our students.

"Inspiring minds, instilling faith and illuminating the future of young people committed to lives of faith, justice, compassion, and wisdom.”
