Mock Trial

Advisor:  Mrs. Baker

Mock Trial is a program that allows students to play the role of lawyer or witness.  Mock Trial teaches students critical thinking skills and helps students to gain experience speaking in front of a crowd.  Each year a case is released and the students must study and analyze that case.  The students then travel to regional court house where they spend the day performing the trial, gaining insight to the legal system from judges and lawyers, and making life long friends with students from other school.  We are the only school in Sumter County to offer this program.
