Swimming is a popular sport at SFXHS. Practice begins over the summer, and continues with intense practices and meets through September. Our team competes in the SCISA state meet each year in October in Augusta, GA.
CONGRATS to Brice Bennett for placing 8th in the Breaststroke at the SCISA State Meet.

The girls practiced hard this past season. We had an enthusiastic, young team this year! Their home games were played at the Birnie Hope Center; off Guignard Drive, just south of our school. A number of St. Anne students played with our team this year. Come out and cheer our girls on in 2011...Go Padres!![return]

The Padres play a rigorous soccer schedule in the spring. The team is co-ed and also allows St. Anne 8th graders to participate.

Cross Country
Coaches: Mark Mossell & Kristi Doyle
The cross-country team had an excellent 2011 season. They practiced at Dillon Park. The runners for last yeat's St. Francis Xavier team included: Jacob Seth, Nicholas Lavergne, Chris Edwards, Peter Lavergne, Branson Anderson, Nick Doyle, Matt Mossell, Michael Rickabaugh, Matthew Rickabaugh, Chris Rickabaugh, Ben Austin, and Jonathan Austin.
The runners must train to compete on a 5K or 3.1 mile course. They have 5 meets during the regular season. The SCISA State Meet was held on Saturday, Oct. 30th at Heathwood Hall.

For the 2011-2012 school year we have added Track to our line up of sports that we offer! Practices are held at Dillon Park Monday - Thursday at 5:30pm.
